Speaker 1:

Maurizio Filippo Acciarri

University of Milano Bicocca, Italy

Maurizio Filippo Acciarri is Associate Professor of Experimental Physics of Matter at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy) and holds the Italian national scientific qualification for Full Professor. His research began with inorganic materials for photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications and later expanded to energy sustainability, including CO? capture and utilization, energy efficiency, and the energy transition. More recently, he has focused on photovoltaic energy forecasting and the intelligent management of renewable energy systems using physical, artificial intelligence, and hybrid physics-AI methodologies, with applications to storage, heat pumps, and net-zero buildings. He has also contributed to technology transfer in photovoltaics and biogas purification, leads energy-efficiency initiatives at his university, and serves on national and institutional boards related to sustainability. He founded the international SILKWAY network in 2021. He has authored more than 260 peer-reviewed papers and holds multiple patents. ORCID: 0000-0001-8409-657X.

Speaker 2:

Dennis Y.C. Leung

The University of Hong Kong, China

Prof. Dennis Y.C. Leung received his BEng (1982) and PhD (1988) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong (HKU).  Professor Leung joined HKU Mechanical Engineering Department in 1993 as a lecturer, became a full professor in 2007 and head of department in 2020 till 2023. Professor Leung specializes in environmental pollution control and renewable & clean energy research. He has published more than 600 articles in this area including 370+ peer reviewed papers in top SCI journals such as Nature Communications, Energy and Environmental Sciences and Advanced Materials.  His current h-index is 101 and total citations are 53000+. He is one of the top 1% highly cited scientists in the world in energy field since 2010 (Essential Science Indicators) and named as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics for six consecutive years from 2017 to 2022.  Prof. Leung has delivered more than 90 keynote and invited lectures in many international conferences.   Prof. Leung is a chartered engineer, a fellow of the IMechE and Energy Institute. He was also the Past Chairman of the Institute of Energy (HK Branch), and currently serves as an editorial board member for a number of journals including Applied Energy, Energy Conversion and Management, Applied Sciences, Progress in Energy and Renewable and Sustainable Energy. Prof. Leung also serves as an advisor of several institutes including Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Energy Institute (HK), chairman and member of a few committees of the HKSAR government and government’s appeal board panels related to sustainable energy and environment. Professor Leung received the Environmental Champion Award (Hong Kong) in 2008 and Advanced Materials Laureate from the International Association of Advanced Materials in 2024.

Yang Yang

Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), China

Dr. Yang Yang is a Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. Dr. Yang earned his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the IMEC in 2017. From 2017 to 2020, he worked at Osaka University in Japan and the Northwest Pacific National Laboratory in the United States. He returned to China in 2020 to join the Institute of Deep-Sea Science and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences., and joined HITS at 2026, where he currently focuses on research in marine electronics and intelligent systems, physical oceanographic sensor technology, marine bioacoustic detection technology, and marine blue energy development and utilization. Dr. Yang is an author of over 50 SCI papers, 20 US/Chinese patents.

投稿指南

(1)全英文稿件,非纯综述类,应具有学术或实用推广价值,并且未在国内外学术期刊或会议发表过。

(2)摘要、关键词和结论部分需体现会议主题,文章主要收录技术型的文章,需要有方法、图表、实验数据和结果。

(3)作者可通过iThenticate、CrossRef查重,重复率不得超过24%,单项不超过3%。

奖项设置

1. Best Paper Award(最佳论文奖)

注册论文可参与评选,需在理论创新或实际应用方面具备突破性价值,且作者需在会议上进行口头报告,由程序委员会评选。

2. Best Oral Presentation Award(最佳口头报告奖)

各分会场由分论坛主席/主持人现场评选,评选维度涵盖报告的创新性原创性、技术严谨性、逻辑架构、语言表达及互动表现等。

3. Best Poster(最佳海报奖)

可设计论文海报展示成果,由程序委员会评选并颁发荣誉证书。

4. Outstanding Workshop OrganizationAward(最佳分论坛组织奖)

在Workshop 组织工作中表现优异的个人或团队,Workshop参会学者达10人以上,或投稿达8篇以上,可参与竞选最佳分论坛。

参与形式

1. Committee

作为会议组委会成员或技术委员会参与支持,在会议组织、技术层面上指导把关,负责一部分同行评审环节,组委会将颁发荣誉证书。

2. Presenter

(1)口头报告:在大会上就报告人目前的研究等进行口头英文学术报告,时长约 10-15 分钟,内容包含但不限于:

1)投稿会议论文总结汇报/摘要投稿汇报;

2)学者们的项目申请内容 ,可现场邀请现场学者跨校合作;

3)已发表最新论文成果,以提高论文影响力和被引用率;

4)学科建设相关举措。

(2)论文投稿:在大会征稿主题范围内提交相关领域英文论文,评审通过后提交注册并收录到会议论文集。

(3)分论坛主席:针对会议主题组建 Workshop,并邀请相同研究领域的专家、学者加入,以分论坛形式展开研讨。Workshop Chair 申请需要提供个人简历。

(4)海报展示:在大会现场,就目前在研项目和技术进行海报形式的成果展示,海报尺寸标准为A1竖版大小,并于2026年10月8日前将确认过内容的海报返回给组委会秘书统一制作。

(5)线下参会:作为听众参加线下会议交流。

3、Peer-Reviewer

作为会议的审稿专家参与支持,负责在专业领域内对稿件进行同行评审,组委会将颁发审稿专家证书。Peer-Reviewer申请需要提供个人简历。
